Four years after A52FH, we are gone back to Bhutan from October 24 to November 12, 2004. We can't set up the new radio club in Jakar as envisaged with the minsitry of telecommunications, the ministry of education refused to give us permit for Jakar high school. The equipment was left with the Buthan Telecommunication Authority  for  a new radio station in Khomshar in the Shemgang area, central Bhutan.

From the 24th to 31th October we were in  THIMPHU, at the "Ham Center" of our friend Yeshey A51AA. We entirely revised the installations and the antennas and carried out in one week 5000 QSO there. We left Ham Center fully operational from 160 to 10m.

Then, in place of the Jakar high school installation,  we left Thimphu for far East (22h of road for 500km) from the 3 to the 12 of November, we were thus active from 4 of the 21 aera of the country:

  • 3 et 4 Nov. Jakar, Central Bhutan : we discovered the chaotic electricity of central Bhutan. From 120 Volts at the beginning of evening, the tension passed to 180v then 220v in the night... the power supply of the TS50  did not resist, which has constrained us to finish on battery with a QRP power from 10 to 30 W

  • 6 et 7 Nov.  Trashigang, Eastern Bhoutan : A battery of 60AH with a small charger made it possible to carry out 60 QSO in QRP 10w

  • 9 Nov. Wangdi, Central Bhutan : A battery a little more effective, a sufficient power supply to reload it. More than 100  QSO in QRP 30w

  • 11 Nov. Paro, Western Bhutan : 160 QSOs for the last night
